THE ROAD TO RENEWAL
We are using recycled material to replace virgin petroleum raw material.
Unlike other automobile parts, car windshields are often discarded instead of recycled. The separation process isn’t easy, and the value is undiscovered.
Step 1
Waste car windshields separation
Working with our recycling partners around the globe, we separate the two raw materials from car windshields, the PVB films and glass.
Step 2
PVB film refinement
After the separation, the recycled PVB films are cleaned up and shredded into flakes for further processing
Step 3
PVB resins
The refined PVB flakes is then turned into a granulated form.
Step 4
FILIE® Material
Melting the resin and coating it on the desired backing fabric, the sheet material is then embossed with texture and ready for use in various applications.
